Connecting Tenrion with Other Tools

Tenrion integrates with 100+ apps so your signing workflow fits into the tools you already use. Here’s how to set up the most popular connections.

Native Integrations

Google Workspace

Connect Tenrion to Google Drive and Gmail to upload documents directly from Drive and receive signed copies back to a specified folder.

1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Google Workspace
2. Click Connect and authorise access to your Google account
3. Choose a Drive folder to use as your default save location
4. Optional: enable the Gmail add-on to send envelopes directly from email threads

Microsoft 365

Connect to OneDrive and Outlook:

1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Microsoft 365
2. Sign in with your Microsoft account
3. Choose your OneDrive folder for saved documents
4. Install the Outlook add-in for one-click envelope creation from emails

Salesforce

The Salesforce integration lets you send Tenrion envelopes directly from any Opportunity, Contact, or custom object.

1. Install the Tenrion for Salesforce package from the AppExchange
2. In Tenrion: go to Settings → Integrations → Salesforce → Connect
3. Authorise with your Salesforce credentials
4. Map Salesforce fields to Tenrion template roles

Completed documents and audit trails are automatically attached to the related Salesforce record.

HubSpot

Send envelopes from HubSpot Deals and Contacts:

1. In HubSpot, install the Tenrion integration from the HubSpot Marketplace
2. In Tenrion: connect under Settings → Integrations → HubSpot
3. Signed document status updates automatically in your HubSpot deal pipeline

Zapier

If your app isn’t on the native integrations list, connect it through Zapier:

1. Create a Zapier account at zapier.com
2. Search for Tenrion in the Zapier app directory
3. Use pre-built Zaps or create your own automations

Popular Zapier triggers:

• Envelope completed → create record in Airtable
• Envelope voided → send Slack notification
• New signer added → log to Google Sheets

Popular Zapier actions:

• New form submission → create Tenrion envelope
• HubSpot deal moved to Closed Won → send NDA for counter-signature

REST API

For custom integrations, use the Tenrion REST API. The API lets you:

• Create envelopes programmatically
• Manage templates
• Pull audit trails and signed documents
• Receive webhook events

API access is included on Standard, Business Pro, and Enhanced plans.

Getting your API key:

1. Go to Settings → Developer → API keys
2. Click Generate new key
3. Name the key and set permission scopes
4. Copy the key — it’s only shown once

Webhooks

Set up webhooks to receive real-time notifications when envelope events occur:

1. Go to Settings → Developer → Webhooks
2. Click Add endpoint
3. Enter your HTTPS URL
4. Choose which events to subscribe to: envelope.sent, envelope.viewed, envelope.signed, envelope.completed, envelope.voided

Tenrion sends a signed POST request to your endpoint for each event. Verify the X-Tenrion-Signature header to confirm the request is genuine.
